The curriculum of the Ulpana includes vocational trends and practical training in various fields:
• Infant & childcare
• Clerical work (i.e. bookkeeping, word processing and other secretarial skills)
• Computer programming and Computer Repair
• Video production
• Cosmetology
• Event planning, catering and nutrition- thanks to a learning kitchen contributed by the Israeli National Social Services- Bituach LeUmi

• "Sweet Success" patisserie to teach business, marketing, deadlines, etc.

• Myriad therapies such as equestrian therapy where they learned to care and control the horses as a vehicle to learn to control their own destiny.

The standard high school curriculum includes Judaic studies, Bible, history, mathematics, Hebrew, English geography and gymnastics. Each girl, upon completion of studies receives a high school diploma and a vocational certificate in early childhood education to work as a teacher's helper in a child care framework.  Those who are able, complete their matriculations' examinations at the end of their high school period.  Those that don't finish by graduation are encouraged to return to Dolev during their volunteer  National Service and can live in the "Graduates' Apartment" (see "Graduates")mentored by a social worker to enable the graduate to finish her matriculations and learn everyday life skills.

The Hosting Family Network and Mishpachtonim

Each girl in the Ulpana is “hosted” by a family in Dolev for her entire four years of high school twice a week formally and as often as they like during their free time. The personal relationship with the families strengthens the feeling of belonging to the community and adds to the home-like atmosphere fostered at the school and plays a major role in the rehabilitating of these girls from dysfunctional families.

Mishpachtonim- A unique group home for 10-12 girls living together with a nuclear family who mentors them 24/7.  This setup has made a phenomenal difference in the girls' behavior, respect, responsibility and even study skills. Please see "What's new" for more details

Professional Help and Guidance(see What's New?)

Physiological diagnosis, and treatment of learning disabilities, individual learning methods, division of classes into three levels and help with homework are available to enable the girls of the Ulpana to deal with the study material, and when necessary, to close gaps of entire school years.

The Development of Personal and Individual Responsibility

The girls are encouraged to take responsibilities such as  taking care of the library or working in the kindergarten. The girls volunteer weekly in old-age homes and hospitals.  Thus, they realize that they are capable of taking on responsibility and of contributing to society and to themselves.

Enrichment Programs

The girls of the Ulpana take part in a variety of enrichment programs such as folk dancing, art, handicrafts, choir and sewing. At least three times a year, they participate in  seminars dealing with faith and family values. Class trips, special class parties and celebrations, and visits to teacher’s homes are an integral part of their curriculum.
