Currently, all classes are still held in prefabricated buildings. These buildings built over a decade ago, are not the “ideal” learning facilities. The dormitory building has been completed and we have started building the school, which is in need of funding. We are initiating the expansion of the size of school and its programs. We are working on introducing updated computer programs, language labs, and new extra curricular programs along with the great need of expanding our professional staff.
Adopt an Ulpana Student
Students can be “adopted” yearly through a scholarship to cover their expenses and studies and could have personal contact through correspondence with their “adopted” family. $3,000 will cover tuition, books and other educational expenses for one year.
"Mitzvah Project"- for a Bat Mitzvah or class “Chessed Project”
When approaching Bat Mitzvah age, a young Jewish girl assumes a level of social commitment. She would be performing a mitzvah by "adopting" a student by helping her with her tuition and corresponding with her during the year or raising funds for a special project at the school. The girls at Ulpanat Dolev, on the other hand, would be enriched and rewarded by a personal tie to someone whose background and culture is different that her own but who is Jewish and caring as well. The Bat Mitvah's teacher or parent can make the "shiduch" directly with Ilan Biton, the Educational Director of the Ulpana.
