Study Center:

Due to the fact that the majority of the girls suffer due to poor achievement in studies, there is a real necessity for expanding the study center into a modern, well equipped concentration of study aids for individual and group enrichment.  The center will contain visual aids such as television, video, multimedia computerized facilities, etc.                                $20,000

Therapy Center:

Remodeling the center for the social workers to welcome and give support to the girls’ problems.  The center will need couches, games, pictures, books, radio, television, tapes, etc.    $10,000

Computerized Library:

The existing library is in dire need of 6 new computers, as well as new equipment     $6,500

CD-Rom Library:

developing  a source of  educational computerized programs for teachers and students alike    $5,000

Landscaping:

developing areas of relaxation and leisure in attractive natural surroundings will enhance the girls’ sense of belonging and develop an aesthetic relationship to their environment.    $10,000

Recreational equipment:

creating an attractive area for outside recreational sports to give them a positive outlet for their frustrations and channel their energy into positive activities, even sports’ competitions that will enhance their self-worth and identity as capable young women that can succeed, even in sports.    $12,000

Computer Center:

renovating the existing computer room, furnishing with new computers, updating the old ones, purchasing new educational programs, furnishings, etc.    $15,000

Game Room:

used for recreational and small group activities, etc.    $4,000

Adoption Program:

“adopting” disadvantaged students to cover their total costs (food, schooling, books, lodgings, extra curricular activities, etc.)    $2,000 per student

Equestrian Therapeutic Riding Program-

***Unfortunately our Equestrian Riding Program, as successful as it was for the first year, has come to a halt due to the tragic death of Techiya z”l the riding therapist and program manager.  Although we do have an instructor for this invaluable program, unfortunately due to drastic cuts in government subsidies, we cannot afford to buy new horses nor continue this program due to insufficient funds.  $20,000 a year
