The 100  girls of the Ulpana ages 10-19 take part in a variety of enrichment programs such as jazz, music, art, handicrafts and drama.  They participate in ongoing  seminars dealing with faith and family values and even a year course on healthy sexuality “Finding the Real Me”.

Class trips, special class parties and celebrations, and visits to teacher’s homes are an integral part of their curriculum. They enjoy a special equestrian riding therapy program at Dolev where they learn to care and control the horses as a vehicle to learn to control their own destiny. Computer programming and repair 4-year course is one of the most popular programs to train them in the field of computer repair.  Yaakov Netanyahu, their teacher, claims that “they will be able to enter any office or high tech company and offer their skill once they’ve graduated high school and this course.”

 

Sweet Success

This year the girls have established a patisserie “Sweet Success” where they learn baking and business skills and math “hands-on”. 

They even helped bake cookies to be sold at the North Shore Academy chessed club with a bake sale for Ulpanat Dolev in April 2010!
